The biggest problem with Amazon is that their program really doesn’t pay much for the time and effort you expend on putting their products in your posts (where relevant). I used to do it regularly, but I generally get lazy and don’t bother anymore.

I know someone else who runs a blog and does the same thing. He told me he doesn’t make much but every little bit helps. However, if it is an extra 10-15 bucks a month, in your opinion, is it worth it?

Alexander, it all depends on the effort I have to put into make that money. The program I have set up is easy in that I only have to set it up once. As long as I don’t have to do anything else $10-15 is OK. It pays for hosting.
I think you just have to look at the effort versus the return. It took me 20 minutes to set it up. I really won’t have to touch it anymore, all I have to so let readers know it exists.
