Like so many others I dream of financial freedom and wealth. Unfortunately that is what most people do “dream”.
At some point you have to stop dreaming and take action to make your dream a reality. This is my journey.
I created this blog for several reasons. First and foremost to document my journey so that others can learn from my successes and from my failures. I’m not here to reinvent the wheel and neither should you. If you feel what I have done will work for you then go ahead and try it (at your own risk ). If I make a mistake then hopefully you will also learn from it and you won’t repeat it.
Second, being accountable to a large group of people keeps me motivated to continue. There is nothing more distressing then having to tell hundreds of readers and supporters ( well, that’s what I hoping for, lots of readers) that I am quitting. That won’t happen.
Third, I hope that blogging my experience will help me generate income which will help me reach my goal. Throughout this blog I will make recommendations on products that I think will be useful to you. Maybe you will purchase a few of them, maybe you won’t. Either way is fine by me.
Fourth, I am a firm believer in tithing. Several things over the last half-year have changed my thinking and have allowed me to be very open-minded to tithing and charity. I will tithe 10% of my earning from my quest on a regular basis. I will also write posts on just what caused the change in me. It might also change you.
And fifth, the challenge to do something a little different and hopefully a lot of fun.
Having said that how exactly will I reach my goal of becoming a self-made millionaire? Well I’m not sure yet. I know I will be using a combination of different methods to get me there.
It will require a different mindset than what I used to have, it will require a change in the way I look at debt, investing and giving. The change has already started. It started back in March of 2005.
One thing to keep in mind is that this blog is NOT about ” Getting Rich Quick”. This not what I am striving to do. I believe there are legitimate ways to generate wealth that only require knowledge, discipline , a common sense approach.
Give Generously. Spend Wisely. Invest Consistently.

Ray
